ARRIVAL
Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport has Direct flights from major European cities and New York City, UEA, etc.
The Airport is located 18 kilometres away from the city Centre, 30 min away from Belgrade by bus.
The suggested way of transportation from and to the Airport is a taxi (more detail later in the text).

Time zone: Belgrade and Serbia are located in the Central European time zone region – GMT +1 and/or GMT +2
Electricity: The electricity voltage in Belgrade is 220V. Electrical outlets are standard European.
Water: Tap water in Belgrade is safe to drink.
Currency: The currency in Serbia is dinar, abbreviated RSD. The exchange rate for 1 EUR is around 118.75 RSD.

Credit cards: Credit cards are accepted in most cafes, restaurants, hotels etc.
TRANSPORTATION
Taxi: The easiest way of getting a taxi is by using some of the taxi apps Pink Taxi, Naxi Taxi or Yandex, which you can download to your mobile phone. You can also select if you will pay with a credit card or with cash. The taxi ride from Airport to the Center is approximately 20€ and takes around 20 minutes.
Taxi alternative: In Belgrade, you can use CarGo App (similar to Uber) for moving through the city.
Benefits: lower price, driving track, contactless paying and better vehicles.
Note: You need to pay CarGo ride with the credit card you enter when installing the app.
Public transportation: In Belgrade, public transport includes buses, trams and trolleys. Passengers have to pay for each ride or buy 90 minutes tickets. There are several ways to pay for the ride:
- Use plastic cards (plastic cards with no rides cost 250 RSD~ 2,3 €). On this card, you can put any number of rides you want. One ride is 89 RSD (~ 72 Cents). You can buy this at almost any corner shop.
- Buy the ticket on the bus/tram. The bus driver sells it, and the price is 150 RSD (~1.3 €). Plastic and paper cards should be validated at the entrance of the bus/tram/trolley
- MasterCard – even works on your Apple wallet.
Night public transport starts at midnight and lasts until 3 am and is operated by buses.

TOURISTIC SPOTS
Belgrade is one of the most interesting cities to visit in this part of Europe. Excellent food, hospitable people, long tradition, and picturesque history are the main reasons everyone falls in love with Belgrade.
We highly recommend you visit some Belgrade attractions like Belgrade Fortress, Knez Mihailova Street, Republic Square, St. Sava Church, etc.
Museums: National Museum, Nikola Tesla Museum, Museum of contemporary art etc.
If you want to experience traditional Serbian food and music, we recommend Skadarlija street.
If you want to experience nightlife in Belgrade, you can go to Savamala District or Cetinjska street (local urban bars).
