Organizers

IPMA is the world’s first project management association, founded in 1965. IPMA has spread from Europe to Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, North and South America as well as Australia and New Zealand. The demand for our products and services and the number of our Member Associations is steadily growing. Through IPMA, project management practitioners from all cultures and all parts of the world can network, share ideas, and move our practice and our stakeholders forward through effective collaboration and cooperation.

IPMA is a Federation consisting of a network of 70 Member Associations (MAs). IPMA MAs develop project management competences in their geographic areas of influence, interacting with and developing relationships with professionals, corporations, government agencies, universities, and colleges, as well as training organizations and consulting companies. The MAs organize their own research and exchange activities to meet the needs of members in their respective context. However, the value of being a member of IPMA has always been to engage with peers in other countries and exchange ideas on how to advance the discipline and learning from each other.

This conference intends to continue the tradition and enable intensive dialogues across all borders. The IPMA Research Conference was founded in 2013, and as a Think Tank, it aims to bring researchers, experts, scholars and practitioners in project management together who share a common passion for their discipline. During the conference, they discuss and exchange research ideas and achievements on the topic of projects and its management. The distinctive feature of this conference is the intense dialogue between practitioners and academics, which can neither be found at scientific nor professional conferences.

The conference seeks to boost IPMA's global presence, particularly in the Middle East, and emphasizes the essential role of project management in driving development and innovation in an era of rapid change. IPMA's leadership in project management knowledge and methodologies will be pivotal for future growth, supported by insights and practices shared at the conference.

Hosted by Baynounah Group of Companies, which represents IPMA functions in Dubai, the event also showcases Baynounah’s expertise in artificial intelligence development services, training, and event management. Their role underscores Dubai's commitment to integrating advanced technologies into project management. By representing IPMA in Dubai, Baynounah plays a vital part in strengthening IPMA’s regional presence and positioning Dubai as a global leader in project management and innovation.

The conference aims to bring together researchers, experts, scholars, and practitioners in project management who share a common passion for their discipline. One of the distinctive features of this conference is to inspire the researchers to do leading research rather than just give them a platform to share what achievements they have already made.
